Amping up the eyes make them look younger, brighter and awake. Here are a few simple make up tweaks to get that fake-Bambi like eyes.
We’ve always admired the huge doe-eyes of Disney princesses such as Jasmine and Arial. Eyes cast a magical spell on your overall beauty look. A little attention to your eyes would make them look bigger, brighter and awake. Faking those Bambi-looking eyes can easily be done with some easy make-up tips. Here are some professional make up tips by the make up artists at The Makeover Place, to attain magnetic eyes.
1. Concealing
Having dark circles or dullness around eyes? Dark circles make your eyes look smaller. The key is to cancel out those purple and dark undertones with a fine concealer or colour corrector. Always pick a shade that is lighter than your skin tone. Buff the concealer underneath and around the eyes for uniform coverage.
The use of a lighter shade makes them appear forward and their size gets emphasized.
2. Brighten your waterline
Using a darker shade on the waterline may make your eyes look small as compared to using a light-coloured one. So, try lining it with a beige or white hued liner to make them appear naturally big. If you are using kohl, line it outside of your waterline. This casts a dramatic difference on eyes making them look awesome.

3. Curl your lashes
Curling the lashes may sound like an extra activity but it enhances the beauty of your eyes by lifting them. You look more awake by fanning your lashes. Use a lash curler to curl your lashes and apply mascara thereafter. Apply a stroke from the center of your lashes in the upward direction to make them look beautifully curled and wide. Use false lashes only if the occasion demands.
For a doe-eyed look, don’t forget to apply mascara on your lower lash line. Go for brown mascara for a softer look.

4. Use a Highlighter
The highlighter doesn’t only make your cheekbones look attractive but gives life to your eyes as well. Using a highlighter on the brow bone lifts your brow. Also, apply a white highlighter on the inner corners of your eyes to make them pop.
5. Defining the crease
Always define the crease of your eyelids with neutral colours irrespective of the look you are going for. If you are going for a no-make up look, go for browns as they add dimension to your eyes and helps them open up. It gives an illusion of a wider lid. While applying the eye shadow, always go from the outer lid to the inner lid using a soft fluffy brush.

6. Winged eyeliner
Giving a small flick at the outer edge of your eyelid would make your eyes resonate that of Bambi’s. To make them look bigger, draw a small line from the bottom lash line and join it with the wing. If you have small eyes, then avoid applying thick eyeliner as it will further make your eyes look smaller.
Apply kohl or eyeliner to 3/4th of your lids and waterline. Apply a slightly neutral hue (choose a colour similar to your primary eye shadow colour) on the outer edge of your waterline for a sexy look.
Last, but not the least, make sure that you have well-groomed pair of brows as they accentuate your overall eye make up look.
